01 · Vocal Chain
Mixamania
A whole vocal chain in one rack: compressor, passive EQ and harmonic color, in any order you like, with a de-esser you bring in when the take needs it.
- Compressor with Fast, Smooth and Clean characters, soft knee and a sidechain high-pass
- Four-band passive-style EQ and a Color stage with Intensity, Tone and Mix
- Drag the modules into any order; each one has its own In
- Optional de-esser, out of the signal path until you show it
02 · Tube EQ
ToneHaus
A passive-style EQ into a tube. Four bands, filters, and a tube stage you can put before or after the EQ.
- Every band reaches ±12 dB; shelves grow a passive-style bump past 6 dB
- High-pass and low-pass filters with their own In
- Heat drives the tube; Body and Glow push the lows or the top into it without an EQ boost
- Auto-gain holds the level, so Heat changes character, not loudness
03 · Vari-Mu Compressor
Heirloom
The slow, round glue of a variable-mu tube compressor. The ratio rises with the gain reduction, and the release follows the program.
- Vocal, Bus and Limit modes
- Six-position Time Constant, or set Attack and Release yourself
- Stereo-linked or Mid/Side, with a sidechain high-pass
- Mix knob for parallel compression, Auto Make-up for a fair A/B
All three
One family, one way of working.
