Why it exists
Hall algorithms build too slow for a lead vocal; rooms are too small; and 'plate' presets on all-purpose reverbs are usually a hall wearing a name tag.
EA-VERB is the plate physics: instant diffusion into a damped tank, echo density that never rings metallic, and a decorrelated stereo tail that wraps the voice without smearing the center. Predelay, Decay, Tone, Size, Mix — set it in ten seconds, keep it on the send all record.
In the session
- Sit a lead vocal on a plate in one send, ten seconds.
- Push decay past 4 seconds and stay silky, never metallic.
- Keep the center image solid while the tail wraps wide.
- Darken TONE for ballads, open it up for pop sheen.
