Pick your band count
The BANDS stepper (4 – 12) sets how many bands the panel shows. Start at 4 for a console-style pass; step up when the job grows.
Set the HPF on band 1
Set band 1's type to HP — 24 dB/oct at 30–40 Hz on a mix, 80–120 Hz on a vocal. Every value in the band strip (HZ, DB, Q) is click-to-type: double-click the number and enter it.
Cut and shape
Drag the numbered nodes on the response graph (scroll a node for Q, double-click to switch a band on or off, click empty space to add one), or type gain/freq/Q exactly. ANLZ draws a live spectrum behind the curve so you can see what each move does.
Trim and compare
Use OUTPUT (±12 dB) to level-match, then A / A▸B, DELTA and BYPASS. STEREO / L / R chooses which side the EQ touches. Zero latency means you can run it on every channel without a timing cost.
Pro moves
Once it's working.
- Bands you switch off keep their settings and cost zero CPU — leave a parked notch in the preset.
- L / R channel mode lets you EQ one side only — the fast fix for a lopsided stereo recording.
- Presets store their band count, so a 4-band vocal template opens as a 4-band panel.
