Turn it up until the room disappears.

One knob. SUPPRESS tracks the noise in every band, all the time — no learn step — and its readout shows exactly how much it took out.

Why it exists

one-knob noise suppressor

Fans, hum, hiss and room tone sit under every take recorded outside a booth. The usual fix is a noise print captured from a quiet bar that may not exist, and a page of settings that turns a voice watery the moment you push it.

SUPPRESS has one knob. It tracks the noise floor per frequency band all the time, so it follows a room that drifts, and Protect keeps the voice band and its harmonics safe while the room goes away.

In the session

  1. 01Clean up a vocal recorded in a bedroom.
  2. 02Take the hum and hiss out of a podcast or an interview.
  3. 03Hear only what is being removed with Listen: Removed.
  4. 04Clean a live take with Low Latency at 10.7 ms.

Under the hood

What's inside SUPPRESS.

  • One SUPPRESS knob, 0–100% — no learn step, no noise print
  • Tracks the noise floor per frequency band, continuously
  • Protect guards the voice band and its harmonics; Full removes the most
  • Noise Removed readout measured from the real input and output
  • Listen: Removed, Low Latency (10.7 ms at 48 kHz), ±12 dB output, latency-compensated bypass

Straight answers

Before you run SUPPRESS.

Which DAWs does SUPPRESS work in?

Pro Tools (AAX); Logic Pro and GarageBand (AU, macOS); Ableton Live, FL Studio, Cubase, Studio One and Reaper (VST3). It ships as VST3, AU, AAX on macOS and Windows. The install guide covers where each format lands and how to rescan if a host doesn't see it.

What are the system requirements?

macOS: macOS 11+ · Apple Silicon + Intel (Universal). Windows: Windows 10/11 · 64-bit · VST3 + AAX. Licensing is iLok; no USB dongle is required.

Does SUPPRESS add latency?

Where the engine needs lookahead or oversampling, SUPPRESS reports its latency to your DAW, which compensates automatically, so it stays in time with the rest of the session. On a live input, check your host's low-latency or monitoring mode.

Can I try SUPPRESS before buying?

Yes, through the subscription: the 7-day trial covers every unit, SUPPRESS included, with nothing charged until it ends. Individual plugins and bundles don't have separate trials.

Do I need an iLok dongle?

No. The license lives on your iLok account and can be activated to your computer, to iLok Cloud, or to a USB key — your choice.

How do I install it?

Through the Echelon Audio Hub: sign in once, and it installs, updates and rolls back every unit you own or subscribe to.

Are updates free?

Yes. A perpetual SUPPRESS license includes every update to SUPPRESS; subscribers get updates and every new unit as it lands.

What if it doesn't work for me?

Perpetual licenses have a 7-day refund window from purchase, as long as the license is surrendered from your iLok account. On the subscription, cancelling inside the trial means you pay nothing. If something is broken and support can't fix it, we'll make it right regardless.
